Our Staff // Calvary Chapel Living Hope
Serving The Church, Loving The Lost.
At CCLH, our staff is dedicated to serving the needs of the body of Christ, while also caring for and pursuing the lost. We come from diverse backgrounds, cultures, life experiences, and professions. But what unifies us is our desire to see Jesus high and lifted up as His word goes out with grace and truth. We serve the community locally and personally, and the world passionately and faithfully. Through prayer, personal and close relationships, and in fidelity to the word of God, our desire is to see everyone, including our staff, grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.

Children and Prayer Ministry
I received Christ when I was 17 years of age and at first this new life was wonderful, but soon the cares of the world and the lust for life caused it to wither. It was then that I came to Living Hope. Here I saw people who genuinely loved the Lord and revered His Word. After joining the young men’s discipleship group and going through the Book of Romans, I discovered how God can transform your life through His Word and fellowship with one another. I have the privilege to serve as part of the Young Adults ministry at Living Hope along with my lovely wife Jenn where we are inspired to see young adults dig deep into the study of the Bible as He speak to their hearts about what is true and they learn the value of truth over opinion with facts to govern our emotions.
Youth and Young Adult Ministry
Robert Booth came to Calvary Chapel in 2005 when his son Marshall returned from Bible College and married Beth Lambert [Booth] the pastor’s daughter. It is here that Rob and his wife Janie of 42 years have developed the deepest of family ties and friendships. Saved during the Jesus Movement in the 1970’s, Rob serves on the leadership team with his passion to see the body of Christ “grow in the grace and knowledge or our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ [2 Peter 3:18] knowing that “He Who began a good work in us will complete it.” Philippians 1:6
After serving for 26 years with the Oceanside Fire department and the last 6 years of his career as its Chief, Darryl and his wife Sonia came to Calvary Chapel Living Hope and became a part of its leadership team in 2007. He now serves as an Assistant Principal and Safety Officer at Maranatha Christian School in San Diego where he also is the assistant baseball coach. His insight into operations and spiritual gifting to teach God’s Word while applying its wisdom in counseling and practical applications for life has made him an invaluable leader serving at Living Hope. His passion for discipleship to see young Christians grow in the wisdom and knowledge of their Lord and Savior drives Darryl in his service at Living Hope and in all that he does.
